Web Video: Think Small!
You don't have to be a script-writing or camera genius to make a web video. Your video can be as simple as a slideshow of images you've already used on your site, along with a commentary or captions.
This is especially useful for how-to guides on subjects which are difficult to film while you're doing them, or for something which takes a long time to complete from start to finish. Here's a how-to video.
An example of a great topic for a slideshow style video would be a children's craft. A project with several steps, but each step takes a while to complete and would be dull to watch from start to finish.
A slideshow video could show static images of each step with a voice-over commentary. This kind of video is super-easy to make, too.
Macs (iMovie) and PCs (Windows Movie Maker) come bundled with basic video editing software that will make great slideshow videos.
