Tribes is no exception. Godin explains how the world has become an even better place for the leaders amongst us. Everybody needs leaders, and you do not need a special innate set of skills to do it.
Instead, you need a passion, and the courage to stand up and be noticed, to create and lead a tribe of loyal "followers".
Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss
The truly enlightened leaders allow their tribe to communicate and lead each other. It's not about power of the individual, it's about collective interest, energy and spirit.
Godin makes no apologies for not providing a how-to guide here. Tribes is not about HOW to do something, it's about raising the awareness of the right kind of people who read it that they, too, can make a difference.
Reading this book apparently inspired Tomaz and Stuart to organize their London conference, and it inspired me to follow my heart and begin gathering support for a North American gathering of advanced e-business owners.
Bravo, Seth Godin. Love this book. Check out the Amazon price and get FREE shipping when you spend $25 or more.
